Cool web based http proxy called CGIProxy.
Check out the demo page - its coolness comes from the fact that it is just a single cgi script, yet works pretty well.
For those of you interested in Ajax (Asynchronous Javascript and XML), check out Ajaxian, an Ajax technology blog.
First cool Ajax technology I could find was an Ajax widget toolkit called qooxdoo.
I look forward to the day that web applications and local applications are indistinguishable, and Ajax is a road in the right direction.
